Into the Fire

Passionate thoughts about the world of writing and the Power of God

Shock of orange, intercepted by brilliant pink
I stare. Awed.
Sunsets painted with clouds, lines of color from the palette of God.

The air smells cool.
Crisp intakes chill the nose.
Refreshing.

Darkness follows and ends the day.
Moon shines, taking position.
Order prevails.

Melancholy hovers.
End and beginning in place.
Season

Father, your beauty is truly indescribable, but we labor and attempt our darkened efforts, knowing one day the image of the true beauty will be clear. We do our best to remember that. To press forward. To listen to your lovely voice. To do as you ask. In the Name of Jesus, Amen.

    I like it, Nicole.
Fall is my favorite time of the year. We finally get a break from the Humidity. The only problem is we don’t get the color change around here. That’s why I like the smokys.

    Thanks, Dayle. Appreciate you.
Do you get to go every year?

I went four years in a row and caught the foliage one time. The banner pic on my blog was taken then. It’s even better in person.
