Into the Fire

I'm thankful for the privilege of being born in the greatest nation on earth: one nation under God, the USA.

I'm thankful for the gift of my parents, the absolute best I could've had.

I'm thankful for my older brother who always protected me once he got past teasing me unmercifully.

I'm thankful for my husband who endured the hard places we put ourselves in and finally rose above them. I love him.

I'm thankful for two sons who love the Lord and do their best to listen to Him, who love me, and who couldn't be any more loved. Thank you, God, for blessing me with them. I didn't deserve either one of them.

And, God, most of all for you who allowed my life to be so blessed. For loving me which will always remain a mystery. For waiting me out until I'd finally had enough of myself. For your never ending love, mercy, and grace. No words can equal my thankfulness. You exceed all words. Thank you. In the Name of Jesus, Amen.
