Writing romance is not as easy as it might seem. Making it real is a challenge because it has to hit all of its marks. Becky Wade gets it. In spades. Passion, sensuality, and critical dialogue contribute to her stories ranking at the top of the romance meter. Characters with anything but cliched personalities, she brings two individuals into scenes that accentuate their attraction, their fire, their conflicts, their fears, their triumphs, and of course their failures. Becky Wade is one of the few romance writers I love to read. Falling for You will make lovers of romance smile in all the right places.

Falling for You (Book 2 in The Bradford Sisters Romance Series) presents the two former lovers, professional model Willow Bradford (the oldest of the three sisters) and esteemed Super Bowl winning NFL quarterback Corbin Stewart, retired due to a career ending shoulder injury, sharing the same general area on the Hood Canal, Washington state map. Willow is anything but pleased with his purchasing a home and property just a ways away from her family abode where she's taking a break from modeling and filling in for her parents at the Bradford Inn.

Corbin has decided over the last few years that his mistakes with Willow sent him on a downward spiral, his severe injury and resulting surgeries and rehab have been emotionally debilitating, all resulting in some significant change in his life. He now takes care of his dad who has some health issues as they renovate the solid old home he purchased near the Bradford residence.

Willow is unable to forgive Corbin for their breakup – even though her own guilt over her contributions to it weigh on her. The friction on her part is amped to the point where she can't even be reasonably tolerant when he's around. However, since he's asked her for an important favor regarding his niece and her desire to investigate the disappearance of her longtime missing great aunt, Willow can't refuse.

Corbin was a great QB, not ever intimidated, cool under pressure, and a winner in his career. His major loss was Willow, and now he's determined to win her back. Willow is poised, beautiful, confident, and not inclined to ever trust this man she once loved and who she felt betrayed her. Admittedly, she did everything wrong with him – compromised her Christianity with him – and she can't forgive herself along with not forgiving him. He's absolutely not going to rattle her and she strains to keep her cool attitude about everything he does for her and to her . . . until she can't.

In spite of all the snarky responses Willow manages, Corbin never flinches, and investigating the mystery of the missing great aunt forces them to work together allowing Willow to see a difference in Corbin she doesn't want to see.

Yes, it's an old story, but it's a good one, and Becky knows all the buttons to push, the emotions to elicit, the sensual notions to awaken. Falling for You is another wonderful story by skilled romance aficionado Becky Wade. Don't miss this one if you're a fan of romance.

Father, only you provide those inspirations and words we authors need. I pray you would continue to supply Becky with those stories you have just for her to tell. Fill her up with your tender love and your heart for pure romance. In the Name of Jesus, Amen.
