The closest I ever got to liking anything "country" was the Marshall Tucker Band, and I didn't really consider their first album "country". It was just good ol' "rock 'n' roll" to me with their own unique and much loved sound and lyrics. The two Caldwell brothers who started the group both died young as did a younger brother. Sad story to their family.
