There's just some great guitar and vocal work in this Bachman Turner Overdrive hit of 1973. They did something with this song that I'm sure most musicians hope to accomplish: everyone recognizes those first few bars of this song whether or not they can accurately identify the band. It's a good oldie – typical lyrics of that time "back in the day".
