The Band often backed up Bob Dylan back in the day before coming out with their album "Music from Big Pink" which was the "name" of the house they lived in at the time if I remember correctly. Interesting unique sound which apparently thrilled some music critics. Not everyone's favorite, but they did produce some great songs.
