A pregnant mother riding on a donkey's back to make the journey to Bethlehem carrying the son of man/Son of God to be named Jesus. Two obedient souls traveling as God directed them. Two ordinary lives made unique and extraordinary by the God of the universe. The first Christmas: the Savior of the world came down to earth.
Father, we can never thank you enough for any and all of it. Thank you for rescuing me and giving us all the joy of Christmas – you still haven't abandoned your Creation. In the Name of Jesus, Amen.
