How many of you have read any of Susan Meissner’s novels? If you have, please leave a comment.
My thinking is there are a lot of you out there who’ve never heard of her but would truly enjoy her work. For the 30-somethings, Moms, try her Rachel Flynn mysteries starting with Widows and Orphans. If you want to read a story which will resonate with you for some time, pick up In All Deep Places. For a serious but fun and enticing romantic novel, read A Seahorse in the Thames.
This woman writes with beauty and tells fascinating stories which offer windows into the dysfunction of people who’ve never known easy relationships contrasted to those who’ve managed to grasp some measure of real and practical hope and love. The stand alone novels aren’t ordinary or formulaic, and if you want some depth to your characters and circumstances, I recommend you pick up a Susan Meissner novel.
We’ll be featuring an interview with Susan shortly. Stay tuned.
Father, I would ask your blessing upon Susan. Provide for her every need and continue to give her stories to tell. Bless the labors of her heart, the work of her hands, her desires to obey your will for her. In the Name of Jesus, Amen.
