Is it legitimate? The thought . . . The plan . . . The hope . . .
So many failures . . . how can one person be so wrong? So often? Do we become ambivalent or are we tortured with it?
Such limitations . . . and unworthiness. Measuring up seems an upward task. Incapable.
So many barriers . . . so many better at what must be done, said, written, spoken, prayed.
Doubt, oozing like a deadly foam under the door of shaken confidence, proclaiming victory like an indisputable fact.
Hope? Various. Lots of times. In other places. Not here in this one.
God is strong. Mighty. All powerful. Jesus, King and Lord, friend. Holy Spirit, kind, gentle, greater within than the enemy without. Everything necessary for . . . everything of importance. Sufficiency.
Thank you, my heavenly Father, for sustaining me in my weakest moments, when I am neither sure of what I’ve done or if I’ve done anything of value for you, to honor you, to bless you. That’s when you collect the most tears. Thank you for loving me through it all. In the Name of Jesus, Amen.
