Passionate thoughts about the world of writing and the Power of God

***RANT OF SORTS***

We can all rest easy now that we know the Nobel Peace Prize is awarded to those who base their worldviews on deceit and lying to the general public and all who will be swayed by every wind of doctrine, especially if it contradicts the facts of biblical revelation.

The following is in reference to the British judge who listened to the facts and came to this ruling.

The court was deciding a case brought on by a British truck driver who filed the lawsuit to prevent Gore’s propaganda film from being shown in England’s public schools. The court decided:

In order for the film to be shown, the Government must first amend their Guidance Notes to Teachers to make clear that 1.) The Film is a political work and promotes only one side of the argument. 2.) If teachers present the Film without making this plain they may be in breach of section 406 of the Education Act 1996 and guilty of political indoctrination. 3.) [Eleven] inaccuracies have to be specifically drawn to the attention of school children.

The list of inaccuracies can be found at Newsbusters. (The number turned out to be nine, not eleven. Oh dear, only nine?! Too bad some of our judges can’t rule as this one did.)

God, you present the Truth in your Word for all to see, but we don’t see it when we choose the wider road which leads to our personal eternal destruction. Help us to stand firm in the midst of lies, in the Name of Jesus.

Even if Gore was correct about everything in his movie. How does that equal a Peace Prize. Kinda takes the sparkle off the diamond if you ask me.
    What about an Environment Prize?

In our current liberal “environment”, he’ll no doubt win something for that as well.
As for the “Peace” prize, I suspect none of the distributors of the prize know the real definition of the word or how to attain it.

I was wondering how this merited a “peace” prize as well.
And I’m shocked to find out that his only lie was not that he invented the internet … or that he said he never said he actually invented the internet. LOL

If he’s getting the Nobel Prize, wouldn’t you think he would have to have actually solved global warming and fixed the problem? I mean, I can stand here and point out that American cities have a crime problem without offering any actual solutions, but I doubt they’ll give me an award for it.

And we all know how hard he’s tried what with all the travel and the toxic residue from the mines and the electricity it takes to run his “compound”. I mean, he’s really tried to do his part to cut back, right? But how can he solve the problem when we’re all too stupid to figure out how necessary it is for us to sacrifice for the ultimate solution?
