Into the Fire

To the soldiers who have fought, who have given their all, who know what it is to sacrifice, to love their country, to have to kill, to have to defend, to have to follow good and bad leaders, who leave it all on the battlefield, who come home wounded, who come home frayed, who know loss, who know gain, who believe in their very souls that Freedom is not Free but worth every hour given to keep it:

Father, bless and encourage and hold close the soldiers who fight for freedom to worship, to live without fear, to defend all that is right and holy. In the Name of Jesus, Amen.
