Passionate thoughts about the world of writing and the Power of God

Another review of The Famous One at Spire Reviews by Brenda Anderson:

It means extra to me when the reader (who is also a novel writer) tells you he/she won’t review a book if he/she doesn’t like it and then chooses to review it. It’s also interesting that some of the take-away from this story is the premise of the scripture verse: Luke 9:25. While this is one of the “results” emerging from the story, this particular point was not the basis or purpose for it. I love to hear how people react to stories. Brenda and I have similar tastes in reading material and share like-minded views of the need for stretching in Christian fiction. Thank you, Brenda.

Immanuel’s Veins is on its way. Hopefully the T-shirt contest will conclude sometime next week. I’ve been assured Thomas Nelson will have one waiting for the winner. The sizes are Medium, Large, and X-Large.

God bless you with His abundance this day, in the Name of Jesus, Amen.

I’m not going to read her review, Nicole, because your book is on my list to review as well. I stand with her: unless I like a book, I’ll just keep quiet. Now you know the slant I’ll take!

This thing has turned into quite the debacle, hasn’t it?

You’re welcome, Nicole. I love to read new, unique stories and The Famous One definitely qualifies. And thank you for linking to my site. 🙂
Luke 9:25 does describe it well for me, as does Ecclesiastes.
