Into the Fire

Passionate thoughts about the world of writing and the Power of God

Fiction over non-fiction. Always.

Michael over Mike.

Anything over Fantasy and Bonnet Books and most Historicals.

Nicole over Nichole. Please.

Sun over snow.

Beach over mountains.

Australia over the Far East.

My dad's spaghetti over anyone else's. I miss you, Dad.

My mom's cherry pie over anyone else's. I miss you, Mom.

Once again, God, thank you for the incalculable blessings, mercy, and grace in my life. Jesus, thank you for rescuing me. Holy Spirit, keep allowing me to hear your voice. In the Name of Jesus, Amen.

Non-fiction over Fiction (in part because the fiction pickins’ are slim)
    Action over romance
    Mountains over beach
    Silence over noise
    Arizona over the other 49
RE: Names…okay, here I have to break the pattern and go on a name rant. Do you know how many weird ways people find to spell their children’s names? And I do mean WEIRD. And half the time they just assume everybody else knows how to spell the weird name.
So I’m thinking about changing my name to Brynneduh. 😎

Fiction and non-fiction. Sun and snow. Beach and mountains. Australia, Europe, and the Far East. I love the variety!
    Ok, action over romance. 😛

Yes, my traveling friend. And I accept that romance and women’s fiction are not your favorite genres, Mark. Really it’s okay. 😉
Brynneduh, thank you for your list. Arizona girl and you like the mountains? Do you mean the high hills? 😉 Yes, I prefer silence over noise–or I should clarify: man-made noise. Truly love the sounds of nature. Thanks for adding your list.
