Father, help us to maintain the best of ourselves through your Spirit but to remember how imperfect and damaged we are without you. In the Name of Jesus, Amen.

    That’s why I’ve enjoyed watching Five-0. McGarrett is like a superhero, but there are chinks in his armor. Makes him very compelling.
    Those are the characters that are most fun to follow in a novel too.
