Into the Fire

Passionate thoughts about the world of writing and the Power of God

I'm thinking of starting a new blog with the above title. What do ya think? Actually, I'm just kidding. However, most of my blog readers are not fans of romance novels. And you know what? Most of the time neither am I.

So what does that mean for a female writer who pens love stories? Who digs romance, only not the chick flick, sappy, fluff stuff. How does the kind of subtle and not-so-hidden passion I love to write find its audience?

If you figure it out, let me know . . .

Father, you are the author of love, life, and romance. Help me to show it from your perspective. In the Name of Jesus, Amen.

LOL! When I read that first line I was thinking, “Uh…I’ll just stick to THIS blog. Thanks.” LOL!
As I’m a writer of historical minus romance (but not minus love), a category which pretty well doesn’t exist, I wouldn’t be able to find your market either. 😎 I think we might be fighting over the same 10 people in the marketplace. ROTFL!!!!!!

    I like romance!
Actually, I like stories that have a little bit of everything: action, humor, suspense, romance, mystery…
But yeah, this blog works just fine. 😉

And you know you write it pretty well, too, big guy. Subtle but it’s there. Gosh, I wish you’d finish Samaritan. I loved that story. You’re a trooper and one of the first to read Breath of Life a few years ago now.
    Thanks, Mark.
