Thank you, Lord, that those days are long gone. A lot of talent given to a lot of people. Hoping some of them re-engineered it to honor the One who dispensed it to them. In the Name of Jesus, Amen.

    Our valentines banquet this year was a 70s theme. Best decade of music if you ask me. So diverse, yet so many classics. Thanks for taking me back again, can never get enough of the good music!

    I heard about that, Jim! A terrific success from the sound of it.
    Really, the mid-to-late 60s and early 70s are unequaled IMHO as far as truly talented musicians, diversity as you said, amazing and unique voices. The lyrics unfortunately told the story of drugs, sex, and rock ‘n’ roll. Sucked a lot of people into a lifestyle that harmed them. Me included.
