Woe to those who call evil good
and good evil,
who put darkness for light and light for darkness,
who put bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter.
Woe to those who are wise in their own eyes
and clever in their own sight.
Isaiah 5:20-21 (NIV)
Passionate thoughts about the world of writing and the Power of God
Woe to those who call evil good

Isaiah 5:20-21 (NIV)
While we’re on the subject of scriptures, I was reading Acts chapter 3:8 (it is my goal to be an Acts 3:8 person). And that was so much fun I got to reading Acts 4 and part of 5. All a great way to start the day.
But then I was struck by this commentary on Acts 5:11 (Life Principles Bible, Dr. Stanley):
“When we fear God, the fear of man will never dissuade us from doing God’s will.”
I just felt like God needed to point that out to me today.
