Father, thank you for the joys of reading. It's a gift to read and write. Thank you. In the Name of Jesus, Amen.

I probably read more during the summer. The kids don’t have school so my writing time is cut down.
My favorite place to read would be under a shade tree by a lake. 🙂

Hmmm…I’m not sure it makes that much more difference but I’d guess I probably get to read slightly more at the end of the year b/c of the holidays. Unfortunately, I don’t read anywhere near as much as I used to.
I wish I could say I was one of those people who read from their nice cozy bed, but the minute I lay down I go to sleep so that’s out. So most of my reading is done sitting at my desk. I share an apartment with someone so really my bedroom is my apartment within an apartment. Wish I had room to put in a recliner! Well technically I could if I got rid of the bookcase but that ain’t happenin’. 😎
I love reading non-fiction mostly–on subjects that are consuming me at the time. Health and fitness, and of course books on writing and creativity. And the occasional military related books that are related, usually with regard to recent history operations.

I think I read more in the summer, too, Bren. I can understand where the holidays would make it easier to read for Brenda.
My favorite place with easy access is the front yard in a lawn chair in the summer sun. In the non-warm months I prop myself up on the bed and read. I’d like to read somewhere else in the house, but it always comes back to our bedroom. Weird.
