So not happy with the two teams headed to the Super Bowl. The two-brothers hype will be unbearable. Especially since only one of them is likable.

Tomorrow there will be a review of the new Athol Dickson e-book January Justice, a departure from his "magical realism" fare. January Justice is my new favorite of Athol's novels. A must read for lovers of suspense/crime fiction with a strong protagonist and a unique cast of characters.

The Chris Botti Concert was magnificent. Truly. If you're a fan of the trumpet, this man is a master of the instrument and puts on a fantastic show.

Father, you've given me so much, so many opportunities, taught me so much as I still learn. You are The Master. I love you, Lord, and I thank you from my heart. In the Name of Jesus, Amen.

The teams I wanted for the Super Bowl were all eliminated in the 1st two rounds of the playoffs. Yesterday I was rooting for the Falcons and the Ravens — at least one team won.
Athol Dickson’s latest is on my can’t-wait-to-read list. Since I’m not a big fan of magical realism, but yet I LOVE Athol’s voice, I’m even more intrigued by this book. Looking forward to your review.

It stuck in my craw to root for Atlanta, and I didn’t really think they could beat SF. There are no words to express how much I dislike SF – mostly because of Jim Harbaugh, not just because they’re in our division. We crushed them the second time we played them. Should’ve beat them the first time. Honestly, I thought the Falcons were overrated all year, and they proved it yesterday. The Ravens surprised me just a bit, but I know that NE’s offense can’t always prevail against a good defense. Heck, we beat them early in the season when we were just getting our legs under us offensively. I’ll grudgingly root for the Ravens sans all the two-brothers hype. John is far more likable than Jim, but this is a tough one to root for anybody. I’m not fond of the east coast. The only value in SF winning is it gives more value to our tough division. Aahh, football. There’s always “next year”.
I loved this novel, Bren. LOVED it. Great hero. Hope you do too. It was free on Amazon yesterday but didn’t find out until late last night. Sorry.
