Passionate thoughts about the world of writing and the Power of God

Quality-1

Okay, I know you're not gonna like this, but: quick! Name three qualities you possess. And, yes, to be fair, I will name the first three that came to mind:

                      Loyal            Listener         Compassionate

Am I compassionate always? No. Am I a good listener? Most of the time. Am I loyal? Once I establish my loyalty to a person, place, or thing, I am fiercely loyal.

Thank you, Lord. Anything good in me I owe to you. In the Name of Jesus, Amen.

    Considerate. Loyal. Thorough.
And I agree. I don’t make it 100% of the time, but I try.
Of the three, my degree of thoroughness gets me in the most trouble and is the prime reason I’ve burned out of healthcare–because “thoroughness” is as far as you can possibly get from the current healthcare model which herds people in and out like cattle.
I desperately wish I could turn that quality off for my own sanity, but I cannot. So the level of friction I face every day due being a thorough person in a very un-thorough surface world is very great.

Those qualities strike me as very accurate, Brenda. And I’m sorry that such a good quality can cause distress in the mess we now call healthcare.

Loyal was my first thought. That must be why we connect on FB. And I love that we can have qualities that reflect the attributes of the Creator.

Me too, Lynnette. And you definitely reflect the Creator.
