We do have an amazing variety to choose from!
    1. No soda for me. I broke that addiction almost 2 years ago & never want to go back. Haven’t quite broken the chocolate milk addiction though….
    2. JEEP WRANGLER! Oh, and JEEP WRANGLER! 😎
    3. All of the above! Most often use NKJV, but some scripture I just have to read the way I learned it in KJV, and our Sunday School class primarily uses NIV. Don’t use the Message much but love the NLT version as well.
    4. Jacket, Sweater, Hoodie, Sweatshirt, Coat. I’d really like it if I were never ever cold (no such luck, not even in Arizona!) so I’ll take sweatshirt. -)
    5. Cinnamon, vanilla. (can’t stand to walk past someone’s fast food sack though—the grease smell is nauseating!)

Thanks for being a good sport, Brenda. However, 😉 , you have to pick a “luxury” car from the list. (Love my V-8 Ford Explorer “Ironman”) Mmm, vanilla. Good one. I don’t read The Message, don’t read the King James but remember key scripture verses from that translation. I predominantly use and prefer the NIV but occasionally use The New American Standard and The Amplified. #4: Seahawks hoodies and zip up sweatshirts, but will wear all of the above. Coke is it, baby.

But I can’t because they’re not Jeep Wranglers. LOL!!!!! Every other vehicle is a waaaaay distant second to Wrangler. And even if I picked a second it would be Honda.
The Message is difficult only in the sense that it clumps verses together, so if you’re trying to translate a Message passage and use it teach, for example, it doesn’t correlate well with other versions that adhere closely to verse number. Besides, for my money, the practical translating of NLT is down to earth AND keeps with the verse structure.

I’m not fond of the “newer” translations, but I don’t begrudge those who like to read them. It’s the NIV for me, and I don’t see that changing.
I forgot to include Mercedes and Jaguar in there anyway. Duh. However, “luxury” cars don’t really float my boat, but some of them are gorgeous. Wouldn’t mind getting to drive a few of them now and then. 😉

Sorry I’m coming late to this. I’ve stayed away from serious blogging & blog-reading these past two weeks in order to focus on Christmas & the family, but now it’s time to get back to work!
    So, here are my answers:
    1. Pepsi all the way. And not diet either.
    2. Hmmm, for some reason I’ve always wanted an Audi. No explanation why–just that if I had the resources, that’s the brand I’d look at. Right now we’re a GM family. We have 1 Chevy & 3 Saturns. One of those Saturns is older than all of our kids, a second is older than our youngest, but they keep running & they start even when it’s 10 below. That’s when you know you have a good Minnesota car.
    3. NIV is what I always come back to, though I love reading from all different versions. Often that helps me see verses in a new light.
    4. Zipper hoodie, definitely. I tend to be hot, so I like something I can unzip & remove quickly.
    5. Hamburger joints. To me, there’s nothing better than a well-prepared burger.
