Passionate thoughts about the world of writing and the Power of God

One of my favorite TV series characters is Special Agent Kensi Blye of NCISLA, played by Daniela Ruah.

Father, thank you for those who use the talents you've given them. I pray they would recognize who gave them those talents. In the Name of Jesus, Amen.

Well since I only watch one show it makes the pickings easy. Although I couldn’t narrow it down to one character. Hawaii Five-0 (the modern version) has an excellent ensemble cast. Their main characters are awesome and Five-0 does a better job than any show I’ve seen in a long time at creating an excellent and varied cast of secondary and minor characters. Such a great job that it’s actually disappointing if they go too many episodes without having one of the regular secondary or minor characters show up. Now if I could bottle that in the novel, I’d have it made.

I agree with you, Brenda. Personally, I think they’ve had a difficult time catching up to their first year, but this season is much better than the second one. That they haven’t gotten all the info on Steve’s parents is still fascinating. And I particularly enjoyed the episode with Steve and Danny caught in the collapsing building.
Both of the NCIS’s have great casts and rotate the focus on each character. However, the original NCIS took a big hit when the character “Ziva David” (Cote de Pablo) left the show. Not quite the same appeal after all these years.

Oh I couldn’t possibly name just one! It depends upon the show.
On Once Upon a Time I like Captain Hook (Colin O’Donoghue), simply because he’s very nice to look at and listen to. 😉
On Agents of SHIELD, I like Skye (Chloe Bennet)–she has an emotional depth the other characters lack.
On Blue Bloods, I have to say Frank Reagan (Tom Selleck). The man still has it!

I agree. I suspect Tom Selleck will always have “it”. 😉
Don’t watch your shows, but it’s cool you took the time to name them. I think I’ll finish the week with more TV character “studies”. 😉
