Hmm. What five things shall we do? How about random likes?

Lipstick  Perfume  Kisses  Looks  To be called my name

Lord, you're so generous and gracious. I love you, Lord. And am always desperate for you. In the Name of Jesus, Amen.

Here are some of my random likes
    1) when my house is clean and organized (though that’s more of a need than a like)
    2) the beach
    3) a good mystery novel
    4) pizza
    5) coffee

    A nice uncluttered house
    Long hours of solitude
Learning things that are interesting and relevant to life
    A good powerhouse historical
    Getting adequate sleep

Hmm. Deb and Brenda have a distinct #1. I’m not foreseeing that for mine anytime soon with moving coming up hopefully within the next three months. Deb, love the beach and a good mystery novel (reading a pretty good one now), and Brenda, I’m blessed to have lots of solitude at this time of my life. Pizza’s good, but no coffee for me. Never have liked it. Adequate sleep can definitely be tricky. Thank you, Ladies.

Moving? UGH! Being moved is great! The act of moving—the horror! But it’s all worth it once the torture of the move is over.

Brenda, we’ve lived in our home for over 31 years. It’s bittersweet to leave it, but when we first moved in, it was a rural unincorporated area. Now the developments are all around us. We’ve been zoned light commercial which includes apartment complexes, and the developer who bought it purchased each of our neighbors’ and our remaining mini-farms/acreage. We got a solid price for our land after all of the previous city-ordained broken contracts (about six of them). We pursued code changes through planning dept. meetings and City Council meetings, worked hard to get this doable. Thank the Lord, our efforts have come to fruition. Tonight is the final deadline for appeals to the project. So far, please, Jesus, there will be none that stick.
Moving will be hard no doubt for so many reasons, but it’s time.
