Passionate thoughts about the world of writing and the Power of God

Kitchen-Remodeling-1

Big and roomy. Lots of cabinets. I believe that's a window over the sink because I think this picture is taken at night to show off the lighting and "shimmer". Elegant.

Lord, there is beauty in all kinds of places. Thanks to you for every bit of it. In the Name of Jesus, Amen.

I don’t like it as well as some of the others I’ve seen but it certainly is nice.

I like the size and features, but I don’t think they did it a favor by photographing it at night. It would be good to see it in the natural light – even there appears to be only one window. (Of course it could be staged and not in a real house – so there’s that.) 😉

It’s definitely pretty, but I’m not a fan of the scroll-work. From a practical standpoint, it looks like the stove is too far from the sink. That is so common. Maybe nobody makes pasta anymore. Am I the only one who doesn’t like the new trend of the island cabinetry differing from the rest of the cabinets? Though it’s not as objectionable in these huge kitchens. That floor is gorgeous, but I would want daily maid service, as I seem to spill and drop stuff all the time.

Good points, Deb. I’m not a fan of the darker woods anyway so it isn’t particularly complementary to me. It’s a great floor, I agree. I definitely appreciate the size. I don’t know what’s with me since I hate housework, but I love big kitchens, big houses. You mentioned the distance between range and sink before. I understand the reasoning, but I never would’ve thought of it if you hadn’t mentioned it.

Debra if I ever get to buy a house you’ll have to come along and point out all the stuff I miss. 😎
