Passionate thoughts about the world of writing and the Power of God

BBmWz1D

Okay. It's Monday. And here's another kitchen. This one would work in a house, but it looks to be an urban apartment. Love the brick, wood beams, and floor. Large. Open. Must be one big pricey apartment.

Thank you, Lord, for sharing your beauty on earth. May we always appreciate it. In the Name of Jesus, Amen.

This one doesn’t grab me. Ordinarily I like wood beams, but somehow this looks like the wooden ceiling of a huge Walmart store. The whole kitchen looks very industrial and, despite the wood, doesn’t exude warmth. I like a large enough kitchen to work in, but this one just seems to misfire on every design level for me.
But I sure do enjoy looking at all the possibilities with all these pictures! 😎

I don’t like the “view”. That’s the primary turn-off for me. And I too enjoy looking at all the possibilities and imagination. It does have a bit of an “industrial” flavor to it, but that doesn’t bother me. Its worst feature? The “pot rack” above the island. Really don’t like it.

It’s hard to judge distance in a picture, but I doubt I’d even be able to reach that pot rack. Looks very high up.

Yup. Would need a step stool to climb on the island and reach for the pans. Nope. Not even.

What caught my eye immediately is the bookshelf. Of course, mine wouldn’t be filled with cookbooks. 😉
I rather like the space, I like the industrial look, but it wouldn’t be my choice for my house. As for the pot rack–it looks just the right height for me, but I never liked the idea of hanging pots.

Me neither, Bren. Just one more thing to “dust” if you didn’t use the cookware regularly. And I might keep one or two cookbooks on those shelves, but that would be it. Bring on the fiction. 😉 Definitely like the space.
