It’s pretty but trying too hard to be trendy. I’d rather have the timelessness of a traditional kitchen w/a slight edge toward the rustic.

I don’t know if it’s “trying too hard”. I just think it appeals to a different element, i.e. those who entertain and need a large kitchen with all the accoutrements.
