It’s happening . . .

           White-kitchen

This isn't even close to what ours will look like when it's done, but the caption to this one was "white kitchen". No kidding.

Anyway, the re-do of our kitchen begins today. Honestly, it seems surreal. This is something that other people do. But here it is us. Wow. You've seen the "before". I'll do my best to get the "after".

 

Father, I'm in awe of your benevolence and blessings. You restored what the locusts had eaten and the foolishness of our youth. Thank you is so inadequate, so never enough. Thank you, Lord. Deeply. In the Name of Jesus, Amen.

    You’re right. There’s really no contrast in this one at all. Good luck with your kitchen make-over. I’m sure you’ll love it when it’s done. You have a very good footprint to work with.

    I believe I will love it too, Brenda. And you’re right: the footprint is lovely.
    As for the one above, probably better “in person” because there’s not much to sell it in the picture – especially, for me, the contrast in style of the island to the cabinetry.

    Looking forward to seeing the after. I don’t envy the construction chaos you’re going to be living through, but it’ll be worth it in the end.

    The kitchen is now bare of all cabinetry and even the kitchen sink ;). The floor is almost all prepped for the porcelain “tile”. The fridge and range have been moved around and will be again. I believe the floor is scheduled for Wed. or Thurs. You ladies probably watch those home improvement shows – I’ve never watched one so I don’t know the guys and gals who do them. If all goes according to plan, it should be finished on April 11th or 12th.
