I love Star Trek, but only the original series, original cast. Sadly, with so many of the original cast now deceased, that magic is no longer possible. Leonard Nimoy was the worst loss of all. I still can’t believe he’s gone. I was expecting him to live as long as a Vulcan. 8-(
But kudos to those who keep a great show alive and good for the fans who can watch reincarnations.

CBS is doing a remake series this fall too. Should be interesting to see if it catches on with a new generation of Star Trek fans.

Oh, I’ll definitely be going to the movie. I was disappointed in the 2nd movie in this new movie series as it lacked originality. Hopefully, this one regains the Star Trek magic.

I’ll be seeing it too. I like Chris Pine in this role. It looks like non-stop action – I hope there’s a worthwhile plot to go along with the incredible special effects.
