A cabin kitchen in the country, I'd say. Cute. Not big enough outside of a cabin. Love the cabinets (look a lot like mine) and island top. The countertops look very similar to mine too. Interesting touch and color of the painted wood (shabby chic?) on the island drawers and cupboards.
Lord, you give designs and imagination, dispense beauty and hope. Thank you for your beauty in the land of the living. In the Name of Jesus, Amen.
Love the light wood tones and overall look though from the way the picture is taken, the kitchen looks small.
Not that wild about the color of the island–kind’ve so so on that.

As I look at it more, it looks like a table over a set of cupboards/drawers = which is fine, but I don’t particularly like the color or the style of them either. And, yes, the angle doesn’t give us the full effect of the kitchen. Pretty wood, though, and love the high beams and little windows.

I like everything except the island. The cabinets, floor, beams and those windows are beautiful! I think it’s big enough for me. You can see a little bit of a peninsula on the right side that provides more counter and storage.

Deb, would you like an island there of some kind? Or is it just the style of this one you don’t like? The kitchen in my other home was considerably smaller than this, but now the one in the picture feels a little small too.
