Passionate thoughts about the world of writing and the Power of God

Take a break from your Christmas shopping to enjoy this repeat of the Wells Fargo Christmas commercial. Love this one. And, yes, I cry when it's on. I'm a big time sap.

Father, thank you for all the beauty you inspire. Thank you, Jesus, for giving us Christmas. We were desperate for you then and still are. In the Name of Jesus, Amen.

I know. I always loved that commercial. I love Wells Fargo. As far as I recall, they didn’t have Wells Fargo banks when I lived back east. When I moved to Arizona, there was a Wells Fargo not far down the street from the apartment of the person I was staying with. When I saw their logo was a stagecoach & horses, that’s how I chose my bank. 😎

P.S. I still keep hoping Budweiser will branch out into something I can buy besides beer, for the same reason. 😎

Love it! Don’t know if I’ve seen it before, but then I automatically tune out commercials.

It’s a beautiful commercial, and I hear you, Brenda, about the Budweiser commercials – they’re exquisite. Too bad they’re selling beer.
Bren, I know. And then there are some that are very good except you can’t remember what they’re trying to sell. In the marketing world, it’s a failure. In the esthetic world, it’s beauty.
