Passionate thoughts about the world of writing and the Power of God

In a perfect world – and we all know this one isn't – what five places would you love to visit the most?

     1.  I would like to see the big island Hawaii.

     2.  I would like to see Australia, maybe New Zealand.

     3.  I would enjoy seeing northern Italy again.

     4.  I would enjoy seeing Aix en Provence again; maybe Portugal.

     5.  Probably New Orleans.

I got a lot of the traveling bug out of my system at the age of 20. Oddly enough for many of you, I'm happy to see my own state and our neighbor Idaho – all within driving distance: my favorite kind of trip.

Father, you've blessed me with so much before and after Jesus. There is no way I can say thank you enough. Your grace has held me together through all my sinful ways, your redemption rescued me, and I owe my life to you. Keep shaping me, Lord, please. In the Name of Jesus, Amen.

There is so much of the western U.S. I still haven’t seen and so many places I want to revisit, so the 5 states I would focus on would be:
    1. Arizona (of course. LOL!)
    2. Montana (bucket list to go to Glacier National Park)
    3. Washington
    4. Colorado
    5. New Mexico
Well I ran out of numbers before I ran out of states, but you get the idea. I would also like to go to Hawaii to visit the USS Arizona and Missouri. And I haven’t explored Texas yet either. Plus others.

Arizona and New Mexico would be beautiful. I’m sure Colorado is too, but we have extravagant mountains here that divide our state. I’ve seen some of southern Texas (wouldn’t mind seeing San Antonio) and middle Louisiana and have been to Kauai.

    Such hard decisions!
    1. Israel – I’ve always wanted to walk the same roads Jesus walked. How cool would that be?!
    2. France – I have relatives who live (sometimes) in France, and I’d love to visit them.
    3. Unites States – west coast. I’ve been in most of the mid-Western states (and no, it is NOT fly-over country, as coasters seem to suggest), & several of the Eastern, but have never been to the west coast. I’d love to head west sometime, go through Montana, Idaho, Washington, Oregon, California. Have no desire to visit Nevada. But would like to drive through Utah. I’ve heard it’s gorgeous.
    4. New Zealand – would love to be among that kind of beauty!
    5. Italy – I’m not a big history fan, but there’s so much living history there, maybe it would pique my interest.

I’ve been interested in seeing the places of the world since I got a globe for Christmas in the 4th grade. I was fortunate to marry a guy who is very fun to travel with. Now, with grown kids, we prefer to use our vacation time visiting them. But in a perfect world they would be travelling with us. And they do enjoy travelling.
    1) Scandinavia (I haven’t been to any of these countries)
    2) Australia and maybe New Zealand
    3) Europe (I love the old cities and the Mediterranean Coast)
    4) Israel (and a little time in Egypt while I’m in that part of the world)
    5) Hawaii (haven’t been to any of these islands)

Bren, even without all the history, sculptures, and art, Italy is beautiful and the food is amazing. France is magnificent in spite of its politics and allowing the Islamists to destroy areas of Paris which is shameful.
We’d love to entertain you out here on the west coast with our own kind of beauty and we seem to have a little of everything. Forests, mountains, lakes, streams, the ocean, desert terrain in eastern Washington, wide open spaces, busy cities, and a small metropolis in Seattle.
California is gorgeous, but expensive and uber-liberal except for small pockets. Same with western Oregon – the coast is sensational.
Deb, you’ve got to make it to Hawaii. Endless beauty. You’d probably love Kauai. Yeah, the Mediterranean coast is something to behold.

Oh! Brenda! Don’t pass up Lake Tahoe in Nevada (yes, it’s partly in CA too). It’s gorgeous. I haven’t had a chance to check out other parts of Nevada other than Vegas (ya seen one slot machine, you’ve seen ’em all).
