Five more things I love about Christmas . . .

The pure joy of finding the "perfect" gifts for loved ones is unequaled. Seeing their expressions of delight and/or satisfaction is sensational, uplifting, and rewarding.

The atmosphere of Christmas shopping. You can usually elicit smiles from almost everyone, and there's a sense of joy permeating most of the experiences trying to find just the right gifts.

Little Christmas celebrations with friends. Today I hosted our annual girlfriends Christmas lunch. We exchanged gifts, ate in abundance, laughed profusely, and truly enjoyed our time together.

Hearing the traditional Christmas carols playing in different stores.

Finishing the decorations in the house and then being able to enjoy them.

Father, nothing matters more than the birth of Jesus and His sacrifice. Thank you for making a way. Words are never enough. In the Name of Jesus, Amen.
