Let's keep it simple because I got next to "nuthin'".

Five recent favorites:

Portrait of Vengeance by Carrie Stuart Parks (review coming soon)

The Promise of Jesse Woods by Chris Fabry

Anything by Sibella Giorello!

Scared to Death by Karin Kaufman

Guilt by Association by Heather Day Gilbert

Lord, thank you for these outstanding authors and for their obedience in telling the stories you've given them. Bless them all. In the Name of Jesus, Amen.

    Happy Friday!
For fiction, I’m working my way through the Sheriff Joanna Brady series by JA Jance. I’m only on book 4 of 17, but so far it’s maintaining my interest.

Same to you, Brenda Girl. I’ve read (and reviewed) one of Jance’s – I can’t remember which one in the long list, but I agree: it held my interest and I liked the sheriff.

Havah was definitely interesting. The Fall was amazingly portrayed. I loved how Tosca captured the fallen mindset of the man.
Heather has done some great work in her series. They’re short novels but well developed with twists and interesting characters. Haven’t read Melissa Tagg or Lis Wiehl.
(Highly recommend Carrie Stuart Parks’ series, Deb. Start at the first one. Think you’ll enjoy her work.)

Thanks to your blog I have the first two of Carrie Stuart Parks’ series in my tbr pile. I’ll try to get to them soon. They do sound great.
Melissa Tagg does contemporary romance. Made to Last was her debut novel, and I enjoyed it. Here to Stay is the “sort of” sequel, and I loved that one.
Lis Wiehl has a variety of novels. I have also read A Matter of Trust, the first book in her Mia Quinn mystery series. Loved it!

I’m familiar with Liz Wiehl’s books – I may even have one still on my first Kindle – but I’ve never gotten around to reading her. I’ll keep her in mind along with Melissa Tagg. Thanks, Deb.
