Passionate thoughts about the world of writing and the Power of God

So. Running out of commercials so how about a dash of gardens? Most of us are still in winter-mode as we wait for the new life in springtime. I'm sure you can find some lovely examples of flowers you enjoy in this picture. Gorgeous, is it not?

Father, your magnificent creation exemplifies the meaning of allowing us to see what is and to come to the logical conclusion that men are without excuse when identifying who is the Artist and giver of Life. Thank you for beauty and your unmatchable creativity. In the Name of Jesus, Amen.

They are beautiful. Makes me jealous too. Sadly, even though I grew up on a mini-farm I can’t grow stuff worth a lick. I tried years ago when I had an apartment with a small backyard. Of course it wasn’t just my lack of skill with planting (did I overwater, or underwater?) but of course the desert soil takes some good priming to get stuff to grow.
But hopefully I’ll try again one day. 😎

Yes, so beautiful. I’m ready for the snow to be gone. Not surprisingly there’s more snow in the forecast the next few days.

I’m not a gardener at all. My husband (and my dad did too) finds it therapeutic and is quite good at planting things. They do grow for him. My indoor plants are doing well – that’s my department as long as they’re pre-planted. If not, I have my husband plant them for me. I have a spindly but leafy poinsettia that’s roughly 10 years old. It was the last one my dad gave us. He would give us one every Christmas, so I keep it and love it. My tendency was to over-water them at first, but now I’ve learned to let them gasp a little before I give them a drink. 😉
Glad you enjoyed this garden, Ladies.

My mom had irises, lilacs, and roses that I can recall. There were probably others but I just can’t remember any more. Thankfully even if I can’t grow them, plenty of people have pictures of them so it’s the next best thing. 😎
