Five preferences?

Pen, pencil, felt pen, gel pen?

What do you listen to while driving in your vehicle?

Footwear in the house: slippers, just socks, barefoot, shoes?

Bedspread or comforter?

Emailing, texting, or Facebook messaging?

Father, you've given us so many choices in this life. May we choose you and your way for us over all others. In the Name of Jesus, Amen.

Ahhh… Pens & Pencils are an art & a science. Zebra Z-grip ballpoint pens are my absolute favorite. They flow smoothly, the grip is great. It’s even what I order to use at work. I don’t use them as frequently, but my next favorite is the Pilot G2 gel pens. Beautiful, fluid ink but with a thicker line. I usually reserve them for paper journaling headlines & such, or writing on tinted paper.
I have a love/hate relationship with pencils. I HATE writing with them. Despise it. However, as a drawing tool? Amazing. I am just now learning the complicated world of pencils—the HB’s, the 2B’s, 6B’s, 4H’s etc. Charcoal is amazing too but I digress….
Listen to in car: Sadly, nothing. Last fall I found the most amazing country music station on the radio after not having a station to listen to for 20 years. They play country from the early decades through the 90’s (when country was really, really good). But then they lost their radio tower & now I can only listen when I’m at home & online.
Footwear in the house: I do not do barefoot, nohow, no way. If I’m not wearing my tennis shoes I’m wearing my slip on sandals.
Bedspread or comforter? Do I even own a bedspread? Not sure. Here in the land of extremes, it’s either my awesome winter comforter or the rest of the year just a sheet for covering.
Emailing, texting, or Facebook messaging? Still prefer email. FB is only helpful if I’m home near my computer, texting gets on my nerves, so email it is.

Pen – I like the permanency. I don’t like inks that smudge or run.
Depending upon the time of day, I’ll have on one of our local Christian radio stations, or a local talk show called Garage Logic. You’d like them, Nicole. They’re common sense guys. Vince Flynn was good friends with them as well.
Bare feet! My feet are forever hot, so I go barefoot as much as I can.
I’ll do all three, but still prefer email.
Comforter – although I get hot at night, I like the weight of a comforter. I just sleep with the window open in the winter. 🙂

Brenda, I was thinking of you when I wrote the bedspread/comforter thing – wondering if you would use either in the desert. 😉 And why am I not surprised you gave a detailed account of pens and pencils. 😉 Yeah, I shun texting. Email it is. A few messagings on Facebook to those with whom I don’t email. I’m not a barefoot person either.
Bren, I have a friend who goes barefoot as often as possible for the same reason as you – she always has. Wish I could hear those guys – if they were friends with Vince Flynn, that’s a great recommendation. Again, email is far and away my preference too.

Pens. Rush Limbaugh and local sports radio. Our local Christian radio station has become disappointing – sadly. It’s all I used to listen to but no longer. Slippers usually. Summer flip-flops. Socks and slippers. Either comforter or bedspread – our comforter is a lightweight one, but it works. Yes, email definitely.
