Five "Series" novels I've especially enjoyed . . .

Going way back: The Black Stallion Books by Walter Farley

Recently: The Juniper Grove Mystery Series by Karin Kaufman

Several years ago: The Michelli Family Series (Secrets, Unforgotten, Echoes) by Kristen Heitzmann

A few years ago: Ty Buchanan Legal Thrillers (Try Dying, Try Darkness, Try Fear) by James Scott Bell

Not too long ago and presently: The Jack Noble Series by L. T. Ryan

*Honorable Mention (because she wrote a good series, and she knows I'm not crazy about Women's Fiction): Coming Home Series by Brenda S. Anderson

Father, please continue to meet the needs of your diverse writers. May they always know who gives them the words and the perseverance to keep writing their stories. We're all desperate for you, Lord. In the Name of Jesus, Amen.

Isn’t it fun to read a good series of novels? Here are the first five that came to mind:
    – The Ty Buchanan series by James Scott Bell
    – The Zion Covenant series by Brock and Bodie Thoene
    – The Left Behind series by Jerry Jenkins and Tim LaHaye
    – The Patrick Bowers series by Steven James
    – The Raleigh Harmon series by Sibella Giorello

I vote for Black Beauty too. And though the brain is getting fuzzy, I think there was more than one book of the “Misty of Chincoteague” books as well. And the Hardy Boys.
Don’t know how many books counts as a series, but Zane Grey’s “Forlorn River” and it’s follow up “Nevada.”
    J.A. Jance’s Joanna Brady series.

Oh my word! How could I forget the Raleigh Harmon Series and Patrick Bowers Series or for that matter the Mitch Rapp Series?! I think they each deserve a special day just for each of their authors! They are truly my favorites!
I haven’t read enough of J.A. Jance’s books in that series, but I can see where it would be a good one. I did order the first one for my Kindle.

It’s an honor to be mentioned, Nicole. 🙂
I loved the Michelli & Buchanan series’ too. And as others mentioned, Patrick Bowers & Mitch Rapp are favorites.
Recently, I’ve loved Stacy Monson’s Chain of Lakes series, but most series I’ve enjoyed are from the past.
    Tim Downs’ Bug Man series
Sharon Hinck’s Sword of Lyric series
    J. Mark Bertrand’s Roland March mysteries
    Travis Thrasher’s Solitary Tales
    Amy Wallace’s Defender’s of Hope
    John Otte’s Failstate series
Francine Rivers’ Mark of the Lion
    Dee Henderson’s O’Malleys
or I could go back further and add ~
Tolkien’s Lord of the Rings – that’s in its own category altogether!
    The Trixie Belden Series
    Betsy-Tacy series
Yeah, I know that’s way more than 5. I just began looking around my office & typing in all my absolute favorites and didn’t know which to leave out! 🙂
