The five household chores I like the least (and that's putting it mildly):
Ironing
Dusting
Cleaning the refrigerator
Cleaning the oven (even the self-cleaning kind)
Cleaning the blinds
Lord, give me a willing spirit to get these chores done without procrastinating so much which of course makes them worse to do. Sigh. Help me, Lord. In the Name of Jesus, Amen.
I don’t believe I can argue with that list at all. I don’t even iron any more. If a few minutes in the dryer doesn’t de-wrinkle it, I go around wrinkly. Period. 😎

My husband likes his Levis ironed, and he deserves it. I iron a blouse once in awhile if the dryer doesn’t get it for me. I’ve never liked ironing. Ever. My mom used to iron all the sheets and I think Tuesday was ironing day for her. Set the ironing board up and watched TV while she ironed. She did send out my dad’s work/dress shirts to have them cleaned and ironed.

I’d add cleaning the bathroom to my list. Hate it! Someday I’ll get myself a maid… ha ha. Wouldn’t that be nice? 🙂

My list of 5 least favorite household chores has varied over the years. It helped when my husband talked me into getting an ipod. Now the dreading of it is worse than the doing of it.
ironing: never really minded it – though it was hard to make time for it – until my second child was born. Then it was impossible to get to it, so I gave away all my blouses that required ironing. I had quit my business job anyway! My husband doesn’t mind wrinkles at all. We are downsizing, and I got rid of my ironing board.
vacuuming: I don’t like lugging the thing around and usually end up nicking the cornices. Needless to say, vacuuming the stairs rarely happens. Plus I can’t listen to my ipod while I vacuum.
weeding: so futile
cleaning the tub/shower: hard to figure out the best product to use
cleaning the oven: the worst

Deb, ooohhh: weeding IS the worst. It IS futile. Our residence is filled – and I mean FILLED – with every kind of flower and plant imaginable. Needless to say, it’s gone wild since we moved in. Sigh.
And I agree: cleaning products for ANYTHING is so hard to figure out. Some work well, others don’t. Nothing seems to work for most things.

I don’t mind vacuuming but HATE that the vacuums don’t usually last more than a year or two. At least not any that I’ve ever had.

I’ve had my Shark (I have two of them) and I’ve put it through the ringer and it’s still going strong for about 3 years now. My newer one hasn’t passed the test of time, but I love Shark vacuums.
