Passionate thoughts about the world of writing and the Power of God

When readers are asked to name their favorite novel or story, it's often a struggle to come up with just one. A tendency is to start through particular genres giving a favorite from each one. It's no different when authors are asked to identify their favorite novels (unless of course it's one of their own in which case they struggle and wind up giving a reason why they like each one).

So. I gave you some fabulous protagonists and some incredible authors last week. Out of those groupings, I'm going to mention a few of my all-time favorites.

From Vince Flynn's exalted collection of Mitch Rapp stories: Consent to Kill is my favorite.

From Sibella Giorello's Raleigh Harmon series: The Mountains Bow Down, The Waves Break Gray, and all the others I love too.

From Kristen Heitzmann's wonderful books/series: Secrets, Unforgotten

From Francine Rivers' incredible stories: The Masterpiece has taken first place, but closely in line are Redeeming Love and Bridge to Haven

Please, give me some of your favorites.

Father, what amazing gifts you've given to your writers/authors. Thank you for each one. May they continue to honor you with all of their work and in all they do. In the Name of Jesus, Amen.

Thank you, Ladies. Appreciate your taking the time.
Deb, loved My Stubborn Heart, and Demon: A Memoir too. Thank you very much for mentioning one of mine in this esteemed grouping. (Loved Dogwood by Chris Fabry but I think The Promise of Jesse Woods has either tied or overtaken it. πŸ˜‰ )
Sibella, not familiar with yours but may have to investigate. πŸ˜‰
