Five series I recommend:

Vince Flynn/Kyle Mills, the Mitch Rapp Thrillers (the picture below does not contain all of them).

Sibella Giorello's The Raleigh Harmon Mystery Series (prequels included).

Ronie Kendig's The Tox Files (a trilogy so far).

Kristen Heitzmann's The Michelli Family Series (I prefer Secrets and Unforgotten in this trilogy) and A Rush of Wings Series.

Brad Thor's Scott Harvath Thrillers

I just realized I forgot to put Steven James’ The Patrick Bowers Files on the list! Oops!
Scot Harvath is a kick-a%# character much like Mitch – and a smart-a*% too. However, his moral code just doesn’t penetrate the page like Mitch’s in my opinion. And that factor is what makes him come in at 3rd on my list of “thriller” characters after Mitch Rapp, and Cole “Tox” Russell.

Yes, Steven James would be at the top of my list! Someday I’ll give Brad Thor a try. My reading time has been cut drastically this year–hopefully that will change soon!
