I’m missing summer too, Nicole! Yesterday we took the cushions off the deck furniture for the season, and I wore my down coat when I walked to the grocery store.

Our summer this year was short and erratic and felt like at the end of it we never had it fully! Deck swing cushions have been put away for weeks now. Secured table umbrella before the winds hit. Well, early, early this morning that mean old east wind slammed in already! So far so good, but, boy, nothing good comes with that east wind around here. This morning it was just above freezing with that wind and yesterday it was just below freezing in the morning. The good thing: blue sky and sunshine. I’ll take the cold and dry with sunshine over the rain almost always. 😉 No big winds, please.
