Do you have a favorite male and female character or characters from a novel, a movie, and a television series?

Do you enjoy Christmas shopping whether you do it online or in person? 

Setting aside the political ruination of professional sports, do you have a favorite professional sport?

Do you have a favorite slang expression?

    favorite male character from a novel: Zack Brewer
    favorite female character from a novel: Raleigh Harmon
    favorite male character from a tv series: Leroy Jethro Gibbs on NCIS
    favorite female character from a tv series: Elizabeth Burk on White Collar (I’m not sure it’s airing any more)
    I enjoy Christmas shopping
    favorite pro sport: tennis
    favorite of your novels: Breath of Life
    The expression I probably use the most is “no way”

    1) Favorite characters? Right now my husband and I are binging Star Trek: Voyager, so the person who comes to mind is Captain Janeway. LOVE her. She’s a strong leader without sacrificing being female.
    2) Yeah, I do enjoy Christmas shopping. The women in my family always go out the day after Thanksgiving–we have a plan that eludes the crowds! It’s actually not about the shopping but the camaraderie. So this year, unfortunately, it probably won’t happen. 😦
    3) I do enjoy baseball, and it’s been less hijacked by social issues than football and basketball.
    4) Like Debra, Breath of Life is a favorite!
    5) My favorite, or probably my most often-used expression is “Uff-da!” The word works for a variety of occasions. 😀

    Ah, ladies. Always love reading your responses to these kinds of things.
    Yeah, Gibbs is a favorite. I loved Harmon Rabb and Thomas Magnum. And I also love goofy Marty Deeks (NCIS-LA). And I love Kensi Blye.
    You guys know I love Mitch Rapp, but I loved Roman Velasco (aka Bobby Ray Dean) in a different genre. And Raleigh Harmon is the best, but I’m growing very fond of Rachel Hatch (aka Hatch) from L.T. Ryan w/ Brian Shea.
    Christmas is my favorite holiday, and giving is my favorite thing. I don’t mind crowds but try to get an early start when shopping in person. I’ve already just about finished my husband’s gifts. Presents are arriving daily! So fun!
    Wow. Breath of Life. I would’ve guessed that for Debra but not necessarily for Bren. Interesting. My first effort at first person. Thank you!
    As you know, it’s professional football for me. Go Hawks!
    I do kind of like the sarcastic: “Really?” and “Duh.” Always: “Cool!”
