Into the Fire

Passionate thoughts about the world of writing and the Power of God

Five of my favorite novels:

Consent to Kill (Vince Flynn)

The Masterpiece (Francine Rivers)

Redeeming Love (Francine Rivers)

Secrets; Unforgotten (Kristen Heitzmann)

The Waves Break Gray (Sibella Giorello)

And there are so many more!

Again, Lord, thank you for your authors and the stories you give them. Your divine touch makes all the difference. Thank you. In the Name of Jesus, Amen.

My favorites change with the wind! But five that immediately come to mind are:
    Jane Eyre (Charlotte Bronte)
Gulliver’s Travels (Jonathan Swift) – the satire is genius!
The Dead Don’t Dance (Charles Martin) – still my favorite Martin work
    WORDS (Ginny Yttrup)
A Voice in the Wind (Francine Rivers)

    Cool! Thanks for sharing those.
It’s funny how we have favorites w/in favorites like you w/ Charles Martin – me in the Vince Flynn Series w/ Consent to Kill. So glad I just read it over again. I’d forgotten so much.

I’d like to re-read Consent to Kill, but I have too many must-read books I haven’t read for the first time yet!

May I say it’s almost better the second time – reminding me why it’s my all-time favorite of Vince Flynn’s even though there are several close to it?
