Five things I don't like that most people – not all – do like.

        1. Coffee – I come from a long line of coffee drinkers, and I've never been able to acquire a taste for it.

       2. The movie Dances with Wolves

       3. The "Super-hero" genre of films

       4. Laptops. I prefer my PC – inconvenient as it can be at times.

       5. History. I know that's not a good thing, but I'm too into the here and now, very contemporary. History is important – I understand – but not my favorite subject.

Father, you made us all individuals in this human race. Your creation is amazing. Please continue to pursue those whose hearts are ready for the love and forgiveness you offer them. Thank you is never enough for rescuing me. In the Name of Jesus, Amen.

I’m just going to comment on your choices. 😀
    1) Me too. I can’t stand coffee.
    2) Actually have never seen Dances with Wolves and have no desire to.
    3) Here’s where we’re opposite. I’ve totally enjoyed the Marvel movies–I blame that on my husband for winning tickets to see Thor, and then I was hooked. It doesn’t hurt that our entire family enjoys the movies, so I love that we share them together.
    4) I’m with you on laptops. I will use one when away from home, but at home I’m on my desktop, sitting in my ergonomic chair, using the proper typing form taught during 2 years of typing in high school (which I took because I wanted to be a writer. 😀 )
    5) I don’t like history as it was taught in school: all dry facts and dates we had to memorize. I love history when the individual stories are brought to light. Mike Rowe did an excellent job of this in his Paul Harvey-like movie, Something to Stand For. Many of the movies my husband and I have enjoyed this year are based on historical figures.

I remembered you don’t like coffee. Good for you on Dances with Wolves. And I know you and your family love the movies, and it’s so cool that you spend time together enjoying them.
When our son was homeschooled, one year we used videos with real teachers/etc. plus written work, etc. He had a terrific history teacher. I actually sat in on some of those classes because this man made history fascinating.
And, yeah, my PC is the way I roll. 😉
Thanks for commenting, Bren. Always enjoy your comments.
