One of my all-time favorite protagonists is the sort-of anti-hero Mike Romeo written by James Scott Bell. Bell is a multi-genre writer within the legal/suspense/thriller combination genres. Do visit his website to get a feel for what that means.
I’ve read most of Bell’s novels and, although it’s hard to select favorites among so many truly good books, A Mike Romeo Thriller Series has become my absolute favorite. I’m anxiously waiting for his latest in this series to be revealed soon.
His flair for action, sarcasm, intelligence, wit, and humor all mixed within the story and characters make for genuinely entertaining reading.
