President Obama says he’ll remove protections for pro-life medical professionals – rescinding the Conscience Clause – and force physicians and nurses to participate in abortion procedures.

Until now, pro-life medical professionals could refuse to take part in abortions.

But President Obama says their convictions don’t matter.

Our Government Affairs team is on Capitol Hill this week distributing a memorandum on the issue among Members of Congress. We’re also in courts across the country defending healthcare workers who have lost their jobs because they refused to participate in abortion-related activities.

President Obama sought to cut spending after allowing unheard of pork-barrel earmarks in his non-stimulus package by questioning whether injured veterans should retain their government paid insurance, suggesting they should be made to seek private insurance. Even one of the most liberal senators from the state of Washington, Patty Murray, decided this was an absurd and unjustified request.

The current debt enabled by President Obama tops all previous debt ever incurred by any president at any time during any war or peace time.

This debt is not the fault of President George W. Bush who brought the economy out of a slide from President Bill Clinton’s policies and then once again even after the tragedy of 9/11 recouped the losses with tax cuts for all people of this country and sustained the economy in spite of two simultaneous wars until the Democrats gained the majority in Congress. With Barney Frank, Chris Dodd, and Franklin Raines corrupting the mortgage market, President Bush’s inquiries and attempted intervention into the operations of Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae were continually rebuffed by Barney Frank and Chris Dodd and Nancy Pelosi.

Father, you know. Let the Holy Spirit bring conviction to the hearts of those who seek to do evil and call evil good. Please. Raise up some righteous servants who desire to do your will above all else. In the Name of Jesus, Amen.

    This is disgusting. So much for liberty.

    So, when is he going to make our Congressmen and women find their own insurance. Again, disgusting. I WANT to pay for our veterans health care. The deserve it more than anyone.

    To be fair, I don’t think President Bush or the Republicans are completely clean here. I did not approve of Clinton’s policies much at all, but he did balance the budget, and I have to give him credit for that, if nothing else. Bush and the Republican Congress (at the time)could have done the same, but allowed deficits back into the picture. So I don’t think they can be absolved of all blame.
    I do agree that the people you have mentioned have done a poor-to-disastrous job of governing this mess.
    I think the bigger issue is that both parties have decided to incur massive amounts of debt just to pay back their campaign donors with pork. It’s irresponsible, and Obama appears to be making matters worse–where’s the “change” that was promised? It looks like business as usual to me.
    We must remember that God is sovreign.

    There is no doubt President Bush could have spent less, and without a greater number of Republicans in the Congress I doubt Clinton could’ve kept his spending down along with the budget. I find it very difficult to give Clinton much credit since he could’ve saved lives and this country from 9/11 when he was offered Bin Laden on a platter. His personal and foreign corruption drowns out any minute accomplishments he thinks he contributed to this country.
    Only those who drank Obama’s Kool-Aid actually believed the “change” we’d be seeing was going to be good. This debt is incomparable to the worst we’ve seen, and it’s intentional, derived to make people dependent upon the government to incur greater taxes and government control.
    Anyone who purports the kind of immoral death campaigns via massive facilitations of all-term abortions without exemptions for those who morally object to such barbarism loses all claims to “faith” and “hope”, and these actions alone trump the disintegration of capitalism and the onslaught of socialism, sickening as that is in and of itself.
