Into the Fire

Passionate thoughts about the world of writing and the Power of God

Like blood from a cut. Deep incision, pouring out like a red river.

Life is good, but life things are sometimes bad.

Bad being a matter of opinion, so subjective.

But universal, too.

Bad hair, bad leg, bad time at the party, cancer-bad, bad complexion, bad injury, bad dope, bad overdose, bad . . .

The news is glum and twisted. Off the deep-end: a drowning of sensibility, common sense, reason, and morality.

Anger, conflict, and no resolution. Only rule. Of the awful kind. The kind that insinuates itself like invisible gas, choking out resistance, enabling strangulation and sanguination.

No one wants to read this.

(Back to our regular programming tomorrow.)

Desperate for you, Lord.
