Passionate thoughts about the world of writing and the Power of God

  Either-or-neither-nor-1-728

Okay. Because it's the day before Independence Day, and I have very little to say today, and none of you probably have time for this silliness, but I can't think of anything else, so here we are with a huge run-on sentence precisely because I can't think of anything else, so I want you to answer one of the above to the following items on this list. How's that?

1. Milk chocolate  Dark chocolate

2. Coffee  Tea

3. Pop  Juice

4. Sandals  Flip Flops

5. Cake  Pie

6. Jazz  Country

7. Thriller  Romance

8. Movie  Book

9. Politics  Theology

10. Scrambled  Fried (Eggs)

Lord, thank you for this day, this life, this breath. Thank you is never enough. In the Name of Jesus, Amen.

My husband is still sleeping, so I’m trying to be quiet, so thank you for helping me “accomplish” something.
    1) dark chocolate
    2) coffee
    3) juice unless it’s a special occasion
    4) both
    5) both and only if it’s a special occasion
    6) both unless the jazz is too disorganized and the country is too twangy
    7) both unless the thriller is too disturbing and the romance is too ridiculous
    8) book
    9) theology
    10) scrambled

Funny, you ladies, my son’s gone to work and my husband has the day off so he’s still in bed too, but he sleeps like a log so I don’t have to be quiet even though I am. (What’s with these run-on sentences?!)
    1.Milk chocolate
2.Tea – but only certain kinds
3.Both – but only Coca Cola for pop
4.Both – but again only certain kinds of both
    5.Both
6.Jazz (don’t like the real busy stuff either, Deb)(And I don’t do country.)
7.Both – but you know I don’t like fluff romance, only really well-written authentic romance which is rare
8.Both – but only well done movies which are rare anymore
9.Neither nor but I do get involved in both. I don’t like “theology” because it can get too intellectual. I appreciate the simplicity and complexity of God, but I can’t profess to understand His depth no matter how much I study Him. This was kind of a trick question. I apologize. 😉
10.Fried but I will eat both.
Thank you for being such good sports!

Oh, Nicole, thanks for making me laugh today. You probably think I’m smart because I put theology for #9. 😉 And speaking of thrillers, all of the Patrick Bowers novels are $2.99 in e-book format until the 15th. I loved The Pawn, so I think I’ll snatch up the rest of them. I remember reading your reviews of these:)

Of course I think you’re smart, Deb! 😉 Do snatch them up! They’re some of the best writing and creep-out villains ever. Thrillers to the core.
