Love this. So bright. The wood walls are a great touch. The only part I'm not too fond of is the tile under the island. Great kitchen.
God, so many so gifted. Wow. In awe of the abilities you give people. In the Name of Jesus, Amen.

I love the walls and ceilings and how bright it is. The tile backsplash behind the sink is more practical than wood. It’s interesting that there isn’t a window over the sink. I would prefer windows where those upper cabinets are and move the cabinets to another wall. I’m not thrilled with the floors but could live with them if someone cleaned them for me. I don’t care for the intricate design on the cabinet doors though. From a practical standpoint, the range is too far from the sink, and I’m surprised how often I see that. My in-laws have a large kitchen, and they don’t make pasta because it’s too difficult to carry the pot of boiling water and pasta from the stove to the sink to drain the water.

You make good points, Deb. Isn’t the stovetop right across from the sink? My kitchen is tiny and probably built in the 70s, but the sink is a left turn away from the stove. I guess I love the airy look and all the luscious wood. I’d say this isn’t your favorite. 😉

I love it all except I’m not that wild about the floor. I love the light bright look–the downside is if you have big dogs that are constantly bumping up against the lower cabinets and the island, you’d have to be careful to keep it clean.

There is definitely that, Brenda. I’m not crazy about the floor design, but it does look easy to mop up those paw prints.

I love the wood walls & the ceiling, but the cabinets are a bit frou-frou for me. All I can think of is having to clean all those corners & crevices. 🙂

You know, I believe the stove is closer to the sink than I first thought. My in-laws’ stove is across from their stink, but the distance is too far. You’re right that this one isn’t my favorite. I don’t like the cabinet doors even if someone cleaned for me. However, I can see that some might, and there is no doubt that this designer can do “different” and still be tasteful.

Frou-frou, Bren. 🙂 Love it. And, yeah, cleaning is an issue all around. I just love the big, bright, light, the wood ceilings, walls. Just pretty. I could spend time in there.
