Passionate thoughts about the world of writing and the Power of God

 Rustic-kitchen

Still in rustic mode. This one fascinates me. With the high windows it almost feels like it's below ground level. I do love the rock chimney fan. Double oven. Probably more counter space on the island. I'd need a ladder for the dishes.

Lord, so much imagination in design. So many designs. Again, thank you for them all. In the Name of Jesus, Amen.

This one does have some nice features. I like the variations in earth tones. The high windows are appealing in one sense and repulsive in another (in the end I think it would drive me nuts not to have eye level windows).
But the red knobs and open shelving–definitely out for me. But I bet there is other cabinetry we can’t see.

Could be wrong but it looks like there might be a big window to the right of the stone cooking area. Possibly not – maybe I just want one to be there. I too love the wood everywhere, the stone, and earth tones.

I didn’t like it at first glance, probably because I’m not a fan of the rugged look. The more I look at it, though, the more I think it looks kind of cool.

Lynnette, we are moving into a home with a nice large kitchen that needs some updating. Just looking at all these kitchens inspires me. 😉
Debra, I kind of felt the same way except there are some really cool things about it. Not that I’d want it for mine, but there are some things I love about it.
