Passionate thoughts about the world of writing and the Power of God

Five things I love to do (in no particular order):

Pray

Write/Read

Laugh

Love

Drive

And, no, it isn't a book title.

Father, you've blessed us with a wealth of beauty to observe and drink in. Thank you for all of your blessings, your serious grace, your unequaled redemption, your incredible benevolence. Thank you is never enough.

    LOL! Good one. 😎
Dream & scheme & ponder–I would’ve been great as one of those dudes who lived off other people’s money while they sat around writing books & philosophizing.

Yes, drive. If my friends and I go anywhere, I want to drive. It’s one of the few things I’m good at (except for backing up). I used to be able to back up well with a little Toyota Starlet, but my Explorer is too big to see, yes, even with the side mirrors. But, yes, I love to drive.
You should be an historian! As much as you love to research, the old west is right up your alley, Brenda.

Here are 5 of mine, all pretty normal except for maybe the last one.
read (especially the Bible and fiction)
    take long walks
    get together with my kids
    go to church
get rid of stuff I no longer use (too-much-stuff interferes with my peace of mind big-time)

After having moved, I totally get the getting rid of stuff. Simplicity of possessions is a good thing. I suppose we all have our areas of exceptions to that rule, but I find I really like less clutter except dang it on my desk. What’s up with that?
    Good list, Deb.

    Debra,
I am so with you on the get rid of stuff you don’t use. I never did like a lot of clutter. And even whittling down to the minimums it’s still difficult to spread things around a 1 bedroom apartment and have it look clean & uncluttered. I’m getting ready to move apartments yet again and will be again finding the best way to organize and store things so I don’t get claustrophobia.
